The shop
Step off the sand. Sit down salty.
Ramads has held the corner of Seawall and Palm since Kennedy was president — three chairs, two lit mirrors, and the Pacific going gold outside the glass. The floor is checkerboard, the towels are hot, and the bench out front has heard sixty-odd years of surf reports.
Nothing here is in a hurry, except the clippers. Come in after a session with salt still in your hair, or on your lunch break, or twenty minutes before a first date you're nervous about. We've fixed worse.
